Gripped Hands

My work is about constructing disturbing and graphic visuals, designed to confront individuals with images of the more complex aspects of one of the most fundamental human interactions; sex. I explore the psychologically damaging effects of harmful intimate interactions through performance, sculpture and prosthetic. There is huge relevance in addressing the aftermath from sexual assault through imagery with the exposure of the #METOO campaign. This particular piece is about addressing the anger and pain after being betrayed by someone who was thought to be trusting and loving.
